Are you a yoga teacher?  Have you ever wondered how to serve your students and at the same time keep afloat?  Is marketing a mystery to you? Then join us on this engaging and practical development day.  You'll go away with lots of ideas about how to expand your business profitably, so that you can reach out to more people and be able to make a living (without feeling guilty!).

Every teacher comes to yoga from a diferent path and continues on their own special journey, meeting the needs of the students that come their way.  The number one joy for yoga teachers is most often being able to share the fabulous path with others.  However, it's also important that teachers are able to keep themselves fed and watered!  Afterall we can only share what we know if we ourselves are fit and well - and it's hard to do that without a sustainable income. 

Armed with 6 years experience of running a successful yoga business, and a few decades in marketing, Caroline has put together a day that will take the mystery out of marketing and help you to expand your yoga business.  What's more you'll meet other yoga teachers and share experiences with them.  And to top it off we'll also have a full yoga class to start and meditation to finish.

12.00 - 13.00 Sharing Lunch and Group Discussion - How to expand your practice to include special groups eg pregnancy, elderly, children

13.00 - 13.45 Advertising for free using the internet and other helpful strategies

14.00 - 14.30 Keeping your clients - contact strategies for keeping and increasing your student base

14.30 - 15.00 Pricing - how to charge so that it's fair for you and your clients

15.00 - 15.30 Concluding brainstorm - ideas to expand your business

15.30 - 15.45  Questions

15.45 - 16.00 Meditation and Close

There will be opportunities for tea and comfort breaks throughout the day!  Tea, herb teas and coffee will be provided.  However, to keep the price down, please bring a contribution to our sharing lunch.

Price for the day is £60 per person.  Early bird price for those booking before 24th August is £50 per person.

For members of the Yoga for Health and Education Trust there is a discounted price of £55 (full price) or £45 (early bird).

Our location, Lemsford Hall, is a bright and clean venue overlooking a large playing green in the leafy village of Lemsford in Hertfordshire.  It is located just 5 minutes drive from Welwyn Garden City station and 5 minutes drive from the A1 at Hatfield.  Easily accessble from London and from the M25.  Further directions can be found on Google maps here.  You will see on the map a label for  Annabel's Montessori School - this is the same location as Lemsford Hall.
